Creating Cushions!

Hello, so this fast few days I haven't been well, so I haven't managed to get lots of Uni work done, but yesterday I created one of my second collection cushions! I love this design!

Today I spent a lot of time sorting out, pinning, cutting, re-cutting, re-pinning my velvet cushions ready to be created next week! Then on to creating my last collection cushions ready for the end of year degree exhibition! Very Scary Times!!!!

Going to spend my weekend having a little bit of a chill, then rearrange my sketchbook, Fun!

Hello and welcome to my blog :)

Hello, My name is Leah and I am a third year student specialising in Print :) 

I have been creating designs inspired by the tropical jungle to which have been developed into patterns. These have then been printed to make cushions! I am creating 3 collections using different materials and techniques, such as Devore, Discharge, Pigments and Transparents. I am using velvet, Linen and Cotton :) Below is a small snippet of my first printed and created cushion collection!

My next task is to create my second collection and get on with printing my third :)
